【大成報/記者于郁金/臺南報導】臺南市水利局致力推動水質淨化工程,恢復河川生命力。臺南市長黃偉哲表示,為了讓市民有更好生活環境,必須要積極且持續推動污水下水道系統相關建設,雖然污水下水道是地底下建設、建設成果看不到,但是對環境改善是非常有幫助的,其中,針對臺南重要河川市府也持續向行政院環境保護署爭取補助經費辦理現地水質淨化場,加速水質改善成效。
水利局說明,本市自100年起陸續向行政院環境保護署爭取補助經費,共計獲得13億5,000萬元建設經費,新建13座水質淨化場,總計每日處理量達高達11萬3,500噸,水質淨化場分布在急水溪、鹽水溪、二仁溪、竹溪、七股溪等臺南市重要流域,透過截流污染程度高的河川晴天污水至水質淨化場處理後再排放回河川,能有效削減水中7成污染物質,進而改善水質。

水利局進一步說明,透過污水用戶接管工程搭配河川污水截流工程,可有效淨化臺南市河川水質,使嚴重污染河段比例逐年下降,參考環保署嚴重污染河川長度統計資料,去年河川未受或稍受污染長度較前年增加6.4公里,顯示市府長期推動污水下水道建設、水質淨化設施及環保稽查源頭管理等河川污染控制策略奏效。
此外,為改善三爺溪上游河段水質,市長黃偉哲積極向行政院環境保護署爭取經費,並於110年3月底獲環保署同意補助市府工程經費逾7.8億元,透過截流三爺溪網寮橋上游24,000CMD晴天污水至虎尾寮水資中心處理,以減少三爺溪污染負荷,另為避免基流量不足情形,亦規劃將1萬噸虎尾寮水資中心放流水回送至上游網寮橋河段,為三爺溪挹補乾淨水源,可望使三爺溪上游河段水質由嚴重污染降至中度污染以下,全案已於110年11月開工,並預計於112年11月完工。
水利局表示,將持續積極辦理全市污水下水道系統及水質淨化工程,削減河川污染程度,恢復河川生命力,期盼透過一系列的水質改善建設,將本市河川打造成優質生活環境,以創造「水清魚現、永續臺南」願景。
