【記者 王苡蘋／高雄 報導】高雄市長陳其邁6日視察北屋排水防汛整備及營建工地，他聽取水利局簡報後表示，仁武是未來高雄發展的中心，也是宜居的好地方，感謝中央給予預算支持，市府力拚仁武地區的生活、公共建設，強調愛河整治的最後一哩路一定要做好，以實際行動展現全面整備防汛的決心。


時節已進入汛期，陳其邁掛心下雨淹水，他現場巡視工程進度現況以及應變措施，並感謝營造廠商對職安的重視、工程的用心，對轄內許多水利工程讚譽有加，盼加速進行如質完成。

水利局表示，北屋排水位於愛河上游，近年來為改善積淹水問題，自104年起陸續推動北屋排水改善計畫，整治長度近1.5公里；上游設置草潭埤滯洪池，總滯洪量可達7.5萬噸，預計111年底可陸續完工，完工後可大幅降低北屋及八卦社區淹水情形。

此外，因河道施工風險高，加上雨季期間水位暴漲之不確定性，工程將科技智慧防災應用於營建工地，包括架設微型氣象站，設置水位觀測儀器，並結合水利局所建置智慧水情預報系統，隨時監測水情，及早應變防災措施。工地更以物聯網IOT、CCTV電子圍籬，無人機監看，以及設置廣播系統等方式進行科技化管理，降低勞工發生墜落或土石坍塌埋沒等職業災害，提高工地管理效率。
