一念善心帶動十方善念，牽起台緬兩地千里善緣，為嚴寒的冬天帶來無限暖意。靈鷲山常住法師整理一批二手棉被，輾轉捐給緬甸仰光偏鄉的比丘尼學院，靈鷲山慈善基金會配合啟動「靈鷲送暖」專案，獲得各界善心人士支持，額外募集到逾千條新棉被，嘉惠緬北邊區因戰亂而流離失所的難民。

靈鷲山慈善基金會表示，山上法師們去年底整理了187件二手棉被及厚毛毯，這批棉被在妥善的使用與細心維護下，雖舊如新，經詢問確認國內無相關需求後，轉而聯繫緬甸合作夥伴，獲緬甸全國性慈善組織Myanmar Liver Foundation回覆，希望幫忙捐給有需要的寺院。

這批棉被於2月中旬順利捐給緬甸仰光偏鄉的2所比丘尼學院，分別是Shwe Yadanar Philanthropic School 及 Shwe Sandar Thara Nun’s School，學院收留的長者及小比丘尼日前透過視訊表示，仰光今年很冷，年長的人特別需要棉被；且這批棉被質料非常好，讓他們有收到新年禮物的感覺。特別向靈鷲山佛教教團表達真摯的感謝。
