桃園雲豹開季至今10場比賽只拿1勝，近期苦吞7連敗，戰績在6隊中敬陪末座，球團近日展開補強，40歲張智峰復出披上雲豹戰袍，將穿上13號球衣在場上奮戰，球團預計11日為張智峰召開加盟記者會。
張智峰現年40歲，主打得分後衛，在場上擁有「拼命三郎」、「馴獸師」稱號，過去在超級籃球聯賽（SBL）生涯15年全部效力達欣工程，不但是SBL單場投進最多三分球紀錄保持人，更是史上第4位達到3000分得分的球員，並在2008-2009年球季拿下年度、總冠軍賽雙料MVP，戰績相當輝煌。

總經理蘇翊傑認為，球隊目前最缺少的就是老大哥角色，「從以前就很欣賞他自律態度，峰哥一定能將經驗傳承給年輕球員，並為球隊在下半季帶來新氣象」。
談到復出原因時，張智峰笑說：「有一部份是為了家人，雖然小孩還看不懂籃球，但希望給他們，甚至是更多年輕人帶來正面能量。」
面對職籃圈內有許多年輕球員，身材、體能條件都不錯，張智峰認為，年輕球員只是缺乏經驗與觀念，在他加入眾多年輕球員的雲豹後，期望能將更多球場上的觀念帶給更多人。
張智峰自我要求相當高，體能也維持地相當好，並早在農曆年前就恢復訓練，蘇翊傑很看好他的加入，他說：「他從以前到現在的態度都沒變，永遠都是最早到球場，且到球隊報到後，讓團隊的氛圍變得更好，希望盡快能將技術、經驗傳承給陣中年輕的球員們。」（編輯：吳協昌）1110208
